- Integrate new automations with the Enterprise Automation Platform (eAP)
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) and establish quality testing principles and practices
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Provide production support to the platform
- Provides domain expertise to engineers on Automation, Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and processes.
- Works with engineers to drive improvements in code quality via manual and automated testing.
- Develops test plans, testing resource requirements, and overall scheduling of testing tasks.
- Designs, monitors, and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status.
- Recognizes opportunities to adopt creative testing technologies and techniques.
- Looks beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Function as member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
- Participate in code reviews and automated testing
- Functions as a platform SME who drives quality and automation strategy at application level, identifies new opportunities and drives Software Engineers to deliver the highest quality code.
- Debug software components and identify code defects for remediation
- Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments

- Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing

- Confirmed experience with object-oriented design and coding with variety of languages
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred
- Strong coding experience with one or more of the following: React/Javascript, Python, Golang
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience building or working on APIs
- Strong self-starter and problem-solver. Someone who takes the lead and proactively work to fix problems
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Postman, Selenium, Pytest and Jest
- Exposure and knowledge of Quality Assurance techniques and practices
- Able to understand and use complex data structures and associated components
- Designs, codes, tests, maintains, and documents applications
- Lead reviews of colleagues' work
- Defines test conditions based on the requirements and specifications provided
- Has deep understanding of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s)
- Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies and components
- Experience with Kafka, Docker, Ansible, NoSQL databases like Couchbase, CI/CD, unit tests, Postman, Splunk
- Experience with Linux-based systems
- Understanding of basic networking and infrastructure
